We did an engine swap on our first Porsche. This one is a 1998 Porsche Boxster that threw two rods. Chris Thayer and John O'Bannon did an awesome job. Not only did they have to do the swap, but they had to convert the engine from an automatic transmission from the donor car to the standard transmission of the customer car. Not an easy task.

If I have to work on a Saturday, it might as well be on a 1967 Charger. It's an east coast car that came in for a carburetor tune up. Ended up needing a carburetor rebuild and timing change for high altitude. Now of course on Monday it is back to the grind of working on a 2001 Saab 9-3 changing the fuel pump and finding the electrical draw.
