We are located at 14612 Union Ave SW, Lakewood, WA, United States. Serving the people of Lakewood, WA is our number one goal. We do that by offering quick repairs, fair prices and efficient communication from the time you walk in the door to when we hand you back your keys. Our normal hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need special accommodations. Some cars bring back an entire era.

This 1993 Mustang 5.0 GT is a pretty special sight. Mostly stock, exceptionally untouched, and still carrying the kind of personality that made these cars so much fun to own.

Back then, Mustangs like this were everywhere. You could customize them, make them your own, and spend a Saturday enjoying the road just because you could. One of ours even came home in May of 1993 and is still around today.

This one came into the shop with a noisy clutch release bearing and a couple of exhaust leaks. Once the parts arrive and the repairs are finished, this fun-to-drive GT will be ready to hit the road again.

Twenty six years in this community and we have never once had to wonder what we stand for.

Moose's Auto Tech was founded on honesty and that is not something we revisit or redefine depending on the situation.

It is baked into everything we do from the moment you call us to the moment we hand you back your keys.

Lakewood deserves a shop that tells the truth even when it is not what someone wants to hear.

Especially then. That has been our mission since day one and every person on this team carries it.

Jim is standing with a 1993 Ford Mustang, and it’s a good reminder that some vehicles become more than just transportation.

So THIS is what Jim was hiding.

If you saw our last post, you may have been wondering what was sitting behind him. Now you can finally get a proper look.

Meet the 1991 Nissan Figaro. From its unmistakable exterior to the details inside, this is definitely not something you see every day at the shop.

And when a vehicle is this unique, it raises a good question: does an older or uncommon vehicle need different maintenance? Not necessarily. What matters most is understanding the vehicle, its condition, and what it needs to stay reliable.

Something pretty special is hiding behind Jim.

You can probably tell there’s a car back there, but the chopped-up view might leave you wondering what exactly you’re looking at.

Let’s just say this isn’t your everyday shop visitor.

Jim is working on a 1991 Nissan Figaro, a seriously unique little car with a look you don’t come across every day. And when a vehicle is this distinctive, it deserves a closer look from every angle.

Some trucks just have a presence. The 2004 Denali is one of them.

Doc has it up in the shop today and honestly it is a sight to see. There is a reason these trucks have stayed on the road for over two decades. Built tough, maintained right, and loved by the people who own them.

That last part is what brings them to us.

At Moose's Auto Tech we take that trust seriously whether it is a brand new vehicle or one with twenty years of stories under the hood.
