Huge congrats to client Dave Kroona on winning "Grand Champion" at the Street Machine Natiknals over the weekend. His Willys is a work of art that just keeps winning trophies!

Just getting back into the shop after another great weekend at Road America Vintage Weekend! After rallying out there on fun roads with our fun cars, seeing some amazing race cars, seeing about 10 clients rip their "Janderson Heads Equipped" race cars around the track, countless laughs with some of the best dudes I know, its time to get back to work. Its always a great weekend to rejuvenate me and to motivate me to keep doing this job I love!

First chance getting to play with some Ford 7.3L Godzilla heads. These are going in a clients GT40 kit car so all-out power was not the intent here. The intake port is clearly designed for a shorter lift cam and off-idle performance, so we did a bowl-blend on both the intake and exhaust, reshaped the short-turn on the intake to take advantage of the higher lift cam and reshaped the chamber.

Its pretty fun taking an old, economy car head and turning them into a serious race piece.

With a fair amount of grinding and flowbench time, a little sonic-testing of the port walls, and some custom Ferrea Racing Components valves, we are going to break some hearts with this Datsun SCCA GTL racer head!

Janderson Heads is now a dealer of ProMaxx cylinder heads!

This includes the upcoming Ford FE heads that we are working on! Those packages should be available soon!

We have been using Promaxx heads for years and have always been impressed with the casting quality.

If you purchase them through us, we will disassemble them, make sure everything is correct, and set the spring to work best with your camshaft. No additional charge.

And obviously, we will offer porting/valvetrain packages for any heads you purchase from us.

I don't know why it took me so long to get a C.P. Motorworks head/intake fixture from Pete Graves because minutes after unboxing it, its already paying off. Like most well designed tools, my only regret is that I didnt get one sooner. Thanks Pete!
