On Sunday, the Barona 1/8th mile dragstrip roared to life with the inaugural Joe and Boxie Car Show. Joe and Boxie once dreamed of bringing a race car track to Barona, and through their determination, they secured the land that now hosts both the Dragstrip and Speedway on the Barona Reservation.

This event expresses our gratitude to Boxie, Joe, and the Barona community for supporting racing in San Diego.

This special day launches the very first Joe and Boxie Car Show, and we are excited to continue this tradition for years to come.
