This is the Ultima r2. Ulitimas answer to the S&S Shorty E. It has better technology as for the location of the accelerator pump and is pre drilled to add the thunder jet with ease. Out of the box its a better carburetor but not much until you add the thunder jet. The carburetor is 1/3 the money of a S&S Shorty. Downfall is its made in China so youll question its durability and most Harley riders will bitch because its from China.

The S&S Super E. Solid great carb for many years but lacking in technology in todays market for $700.00. Its still a basic butterfly carburetor with no improvements. If you have limited mechanical abilities this old workhorse is probably for you.
