Carpal Tunnel Express Minimally invasive carpal tunnel release surgery at its finest.

In response to patient demand for a less invasive, office-based procedure, Lakeland orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brian Jurbala developed a unique Carpal Tunnel Release system called the TunnelTome procedure. The whole procedure is done through a 1/4 to 1/2 inch incision, and there are no painful stitches to remove later. It can be done in the office in 10 minutes the day of your first visit, in cases where you have previously been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and undergone other conservative treatments. There is no restrictive splint that must be worn, no expensive formal therapy, and you can return to light activities – including driving – the same day and most heavy activity including golf, weight lifting and tennis in 1 to 3 weeks.
