✨Through the years of doing various types of engines and multiple different applications . Ring gap has always been a subject of great debate. How much do you need? .004/inch .005/inch of Bore?
✨Ask yourself what causes ring gap to decrease during use… simple answer
♨️HEAT.
🟢I have personally used the following examples with success.

⏩️959” 3000hp Gasoline Nitrous 5.050 bore : .028
⏩️ 500” 12000hp 50 lbs boost Nitro 4.187 bore .030
⏩️565” 4500hp 60 lbs boost Alky026
⏩️358” 750hp NA. NASCAR Ring location at deck .020
I believe .020/.030 is more than adequate for about any application you can think of..
💥remember kids the second ring doesn’t like combustion pressure
