🔧 In the shop today: 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L

Customer came into the shop with an exhaust leak coming from the passenger side exhaust manifold. After inspection, we found 2 broken exhaust manifold bolts causing the leak 😖
Removed the broken hardware and got this Sierra sealed up and running quietly again. 💪
If you hear a ticking noise on startup or notice an exhaust leak, don’t wait ❌ small issues can turn into bigger repairs.🛠️

2014 Dodge Journey owner called us complaining it was blowing nothing but warm air in this Florida heat ☀️🥵
Found the evaporator core leaking and causing the A/C system to lose refrigerant. Dash pulled, evaporator core replaced, system vacuumed down and recharged 💪 now it’s back to blowing ice cold 🧊💨
Because surviving a Florida summer without A/C isn’t happening 😅🔧

2020 Ford F-250 6.2 rolled into the shop sounding like it had a tap dancer under the hood 👀🔧
Tracked the ticking noise down to failed intake manifold runners. Installed a new intake manifold, verified normal operation, and sent this truck back out sounding healthy again. 💪
No appointment necessary 🛠️ just pull in and we’ll take care of the rest.

2016 Honda Pilot pulled through the shop with a check engine light and rough running 💡
Pulled code P0365 (camshaft position sensor circuit fault) 🔍 but this wasn’t just a bad sensor. Found the camshaft thrust plate worn out, allowing excessive camshaft movement. That movement ended up damaging the cam sensor itself 😬
Tracked down the root cause and got it fixed the right way 💪
Don’t ignore a rough running engine 🫣 it’s usually more than just a sensor!

1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 called in with a crank/no start issue 🔧
Tracked it down to no fuel pressure 🫣 fuel pump had failed. Replaced the pump and got everything back up and running like it should 💪
