🔹 Doozie 2,000-lb jet ski lifts with four-sided walkways & remote controls

Duke Energy has implemented a major change to its dock permitting process.

Effective immediately, if your waterfront lot does not have a completed home, Duke Energy will not issue a new private dock permit until the home has been completed.

What this means:
✅ Existing docks can still be repaired (subject to Duke Energy approval).
❌ New dock permits for vacant waterfront lots will not be approved until a home is completed on the property.

According to Duke Energy, this change is intended to address:
• Safety concerns
• Security and unauthorized access
• Environmental impacts
• Preservation of lake aesthetics and property values

If you’re thinking about buying, selling, or building on waterfront property, this new policy could have a significant impact on your plans.
