Starting May 16, 2022 our new hours Monday thru Friday for Lake Villa will be 8 am to 5:30 pm. We will write estimates until 5pm and pickups are until 5:15 pm.

So early this spring I hurt my left shoulder. I had an MRI and it turned out it was a rotator cuff injury. I had physical therapy, two injections, used CBD, THC you name it. The pain wakes me up out of my sleep, it hurts when I'm driving, getting dressed/undressed and definitely doing things at work. My pain is constant and excruciating!

So I've decided to have surgery to fix this problem and eliminate this pain once and for all. My surgery is scheduled for Monday December 27th. Instead of asking my already depleted staff to step up and do more to fill in for me we've decided to close the restaurant.

We normally close the first two weeks of the year, but as a result of the surgery we plan to extend that time off in order to allow me some extra time to recover. We will close Friday December 24th at 5:00pm and remain closed until Monday January 31st. We will reopen Tuesday February 1st at 11:00am. The staff will not have an interruption in pay as a result of surgery/recovery and will receive the entire time off with pay.

I'm asking that everyone please share this post to get the word out to as many people as possible to avoid people making an unnecessary trip to the restaurant. We want to thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding.
