It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of Lake Stevens’ icons and a longtime patron of our Lake Stevens location.
Roger Sweet is widely known for creating the He-Man character, but those who had the privilege of speaking with him knew there was so much more to his story. He was deeply passionate about his work in design and had many remarkable accomplishments throughout his life. More than that, he was an incredibly intelligent and engaging person.
Every time Roger visited our shop, it was a treat. He was friendly, energetic, and impressively active, even as the years went on. We will truly miss his visits.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Marlene, and to his family.
Roger wasn’t just an icon because of his professional achievements—he was an icon simply because he was Roger Sweet.
