Harley's new De Dion rear Trike suspension verses the Kool Trikes retrofit IRS comparison:

The new Harley De Dion suspension design still has a "solid" type rear axle housing but with a wishbone shape compared to the former straight axle housing. The new axle housing can now "pivot" in the main frame and should help the former "side-kick" issues.

Kool Trikes supplies for the 2025 and down models a retrofit IRS assembly that is a true independent suspension set up that will yet outperform the new Harley design. The improvement in ride quality is absolutely amazing and cures the "side-kick" issues. Your Trike will ride almost like a hover craft! Well, almost!
