John Espinosa Can never leave anything alone, but of course when he has one of our kits and us in your corner, why should he. Most of us saw his post about E85 and there was a lot of interactions about his post, as it should. Since then, Joh has sent his Nexus S3 adapter harness back to us for modification and we completed just that.
Now just to clear things up, this by far not our first 5VZ on E85 and we are far from new to flex fuel, E85, or ethanol as a fuel. Back when we were involved in racing, we worked with teams/racers and tuned many cars making 1000, 1500+ WHP single and twin engine Boats making 2000hp per engine on ethanol so yeah, we kinda have that experience.
John also suggested we do a video that kinda helps explain how the E85 flex fuel setup so we also did just that.
We just released a fresh new YouTube about 5VZ flex fuel, the flex fuel sensor, and the basics of how it works and the things we can do with it.

Haltech Nexus T2 ECU with a full unboxing, item description, communication connection, importing the Elite 750 tune file and more.
We remove the Haltech Elite 750 we have been running in our personal 2000 4Runner and we install the new Haltech Nexus T2 which only really took a few minutes after adding a knock sensor wire to the T2. Our adapter harness was originally made for the Elite 2500 which we converted to the Elite 750 for testing so the knock sensor wire was already available.
We over night shipped this Nexus T2 to have it in time for a full beak down video and load it into a Youtube Video to share for this weekend which meant editing this video till almost midnight last night.

SNP Speed Innovations latest YouTube video.
I already own 23 vehicles… so buying another one probably wasn’t the smartest decision.

But then this 1984 Toyota Pickup showed up.

2WD. 5-speed. Power steering. A/C. Sunroof. Power windows. Cruise control. Tilt Steering. Premium stereo with EQ. This little truck checked way too many boxes for me to walk away from it.

The original plan was simple: maybe freshen it up, maybe rebuild the engine, maybe just enjoy it as-is.

But of course… the turbo conversation has already started.

So now I need your help: did I make a mistake buying vehicle number 24, or is this 1984 Toyota Pickup too rare and too cool to pass up?
