So here is a big flaw on the Rover 5.0 and V6 engines. In 2010 when the 5.0 was introduced they had metal pipes wrapping around and under the supercharger. Shortly they switched to plastic because someone in an office probably realized how much they could save using plastic for this piece. There lies the problem. First the plastic is 2 piece halves glued together. Well they split. Next they split into a Y at the bottom and go into aluminum. Well the plastic and metal don't expand and contract at the same rate so the plastic just breaks the ends off at the block. Now here is the really messed up part. Your temperature gauge doesn't go up when this leaks, it drops so no warning your overheating the engine and you just destroyed a 15-20,000$ engine (that's just the part). Well my D5 started leaking so I ordered the now available metal pipes from Rein. Perfect fit and no more cheap plastic ones.

Anything is a hammer!

It takes a lot to bend one of these especially on a basic build but this is a good one!

Loose timing chain. At least the nylon is still in place on the cam gear!
