For decades, the company has lived out a unique pledge: giving back at least 2 percent of net profits every year. Since 2020, they have done so through the Tom Nehl Truck Company Fund housed at The Community Foundation, which supports organizations that strengthen children and families, from the Boy Scouts and Salvation Army to Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Hunger Fight.

Great news! South Georgia Western Star is now part of the Tom Nehl family. We are looking forward to expanding our presence in South Georgia, and will continue the legacy of excellent customer service South Georgia Western Star customers know and trust.

Plus, because Tom Nehl is a full-service Freightliner dealer, we will be able to offer greater access to Freightliner parts and provide Freightliner warranty repairs to customers in the area!

The Tom Nehl Team has done it again! The employees at our Jacksonville headquarters donated 1,183 lbs of food for our neighbors in need! We are so grateful to our friends at Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida who work hard each day to serve people in our community who need a helping hand.
