Pro Line Race Preparation

Pro Line Race Preparation High Performance Engine Building Shop, Dyno Tuning, ECU Reflashing, Port& Polishing, ISF Finishing, Teflon Coating We now offer ECU Reflashing!

Pro-Line draws its roots from a family run automotive repair shop that was based in New York. The name was carried over in 1998 to our original motorcycle rental operation and continued when Pro-Line opened a full service motorcycle service center in Sanford, FL in 1999. At that time Pro-Line operated next to a local salvage yard building and built and repaired two and four stroke bikes from the l

ate 60's to the early 90's. Pro-Line's original goal of revolutionizing motorcycling was not going to succeed working on salvage yard motorcycles, but the experience was valuable in creating a "Don't overlook anything" attitude. In late 2001, Pro-Line moved to the heart of Orlando and never looked back. Pro-Line currently focuses on sport bikes and in 2002 we acquired a Model 250 Dyno, which allowed us to make drastic jumps in horsepower on almost every motorcycle that we encounter. In 2004, Pro-Line dabbled in a few AMA events and in 2005 we successfully completed our first Daytona 200 with rider Rick Shaw setting records for the most starts and most laps. Pro-Line is currently located in Lake City, FL which is just 50 miles South of Jennings GP. Please give us a call anytime. Were here to help…..

If you have Sponsorship from a company that Either sells parts or service. Please be sure to personally support them yourself and means that you trust more than their money.

For example if they are a food company when you show up at the race track you should have more than what they require you should actually have some of their food not for display but to be eating the product as doing that in my eyes and I'm sure studies will back this the people see you eat that they will most likely trust in the product.
Now.
If you are sponsored by a local BRAKE repair Company in your town..
When your trailer- wife's vehicle, your buddys car you are helping out with,or your farm tractor needs a set of brakes. PLEASE. PLEASE
NOTE ..Your are NOT supposed to be logging on to Amazon and buying a set from them.

If any of your sponsors are large companies.. I have found that, (sometimes & in many other ways then noted here) You make the attempt to buy through corporate making sure to say the name of your local company that sponsored you. Independent sponsoring companies either PAY OUT OF POCKET or get co-op / advertising funding.
Over the years I personally had 2 sponsorships through independent local companies that sold many different products I main one was ADI Y type store and they sold chainsaws in home equipment. We came up with a logo that had there are 4 main suppliers and on my own I called the suppliers because we needed a pump By contacting corporate the corporate company supplied the Independent shop with the product that I wanted plus a bunch of fittings and repair kits now independent company then charge me of course a discounted rate because they were making 100% of the product from that they were able to get and advertising alignment and we just put that money together and how will the bike night in 2 different locations.
I explained the stuff in detail and take out the time so that way through this off season and when go getters are trying to achieve a goal which is "not lose as much money as last year"..

I want you to take these opportunities and realize that the sponsors are not there to just give you money and have fun...Nope... they are giving you money in the hopes that you can be a Positive note when talking about there R.O.I.
For last years advertising endeavors.

Remember that the more you give back to these sponsors the more likely that they will give more to you and as that works its way up the line.... You will notice that there is more opportunity for not only you what your industry which you're trying to race in.

If you're doing your job correctly then You should see advertising from other companies that do similar work or supply similar parts.

You should not lose touch of the main reason why everyone wants and needs a sponsor.
You have to understand AS A BUSINESS AKA Sponsored rider or team.......
You are not in need of a sponsor. you are in need of funding or parts When the opportunity arises you "will" and "better" try to purchase from ALL of your sponsored companies before buying from anyone else.

I make note of this today because I'm going over repair orders from racers I sponsored. This is done on a much more format what it had done for me on a personal and independent level.
On a professional level I have taken about 3 hours of my time《 which yes is wasted time in my opinion but Any data is good data if you can make it a positive Experience.

There are many types of grinding and finishing process in metalworking. One of these processes is known as superfinishing. What is this process?

Built this beast just over 7 years ago. It made 203 hp broken in and she has aged so well. After 4 years she still made 203hp on c16 and we then upped the NITROUS power from 277 to 350hp These guys followed every rule I had about running marvel mystery oil after each race day. Then before storage they had made up 4 gallons of 93 mixed with castor 927 at 60:1 and kept engine cool when running so the oil treated/coated the metal parts with oil instead of burning it off. Then before the next use they drained the mix fuel into a pail. This pail was used for about 8 months before starting fresh.
The engine components had not 1 single sign of race fuel wear and tear. No pits. No thick sandy build up on exhaust valves nor in exhaust ports.

I built this 24volt starting AND CHARGING system 7 years ago as well. A few wires show signs of heat and that is mostly due to having the clutch relay burn up the wire as there was too .any amps flowing thru a small wire as the clutch switch activates the system.
I will be replacing about 5 small wires this time.
We also moved the clutch switch wires over to the pass button on left bar switch so the bike when street ridden can stop at red lights and still hold the clutch lever in without having to worry about burning the wires. The clutch switch always stays active on my race or street bikes as it's 100% a safety item.

Please swing by for a brake service before we need to utilize clamps and masters cylinders to get your pistons removed .
We understand that most riders don't need this done as often as a race bike(which is weekly) We believe that With every tire change on a street bike on a street bike it is good to do a soap and water wash of the calipers calibers and a Scotch brink clean up of the rotors..

Then every 4 years the complete brake system should be cleaned Down to each piston removal Lines flushed And polished pistons.

This is a 1998 motorcycle and I do not believe these pistons had ever been removed nor do I believe the system ever had a proper cleaning.
Only one piston had freed up with the normal air pressure method.
That means we had to reinstall the one piston after cleaning. Then we had to use a clamp To hold piston in place. The 2nd piston Was held in place with a second clamp so that the final piston can be removed. And trust me it took some pressure from this master cylinder to get the other pistons to break loose.
We now move on to a seal clean & inspection.
Any hard or discolored seal will be replaced.
You will be amazed at how long a seal will last with proper maintenance.

A common break service clean front and rear break is about $200 with a brake pad replacement. .
You can plan on $500 and up if it gets to the point you see in these pictures.

Something I have done for years. Make service limit /working range for my clutch parts.
I see people buying these special hi dollar clutches and learning that they need measurements from installed height to spring lengths.
I have always been one to see what the manufacturer wants as a general set up..
I then make a change see what it does and.... optimize!!
This unit is getting its slipper clutch ramps polished. Setting the stack height and testing spring pressures to ensure the springs to not work against the slipper
Shift claw and Pawl/paul(not sure of spelling) inspected and I will be taking measurements so I can modify the new one for more positive up and down shifts with less false neutrals.

All Suzuki and many other brand owners.
Please inspect your crank case ventilation sponge.
This is made to collect oil vapors and get them to stop prior to being sucked back into the intake then into the combustion chamber .

We have found at about 3 to 5 years (depending on how much you ride) this sponge will fail and it should be changed.

This bike has some strange build up on the intake valves that seemed softer then carbon.

After we did the airbox inspection we had found a bunch of this stuck around the velocity stacks.. Full airbox clean and sponge area blow out..A new section of sponge will be installed.

I keep an upgraded sponge in stock and I ship out chunks that you can cut to size. It will last a lifetime and I supply enough that you can do more then 1 bike.
$25 shipped continental USA.

How much detail goes into our RACE PREPARED motorcycles. This much. In all my years I never seen others take the time to do it.
Some large teams run no dust seals on bearing or low friction seals. Well we just remove the springs and cut slices on inner lip of seals.
We then remove as much oem grease as possible then pop some of my GREASE which is just so super slick. Bearings still roll and the grease maintains itself by actually working thru the bearings .
This stuff takes so long to do you ca t even be charged for it all in one sitting. This is stuff that you get when you lease a bike from me or pay for a seasons worth of work.
We do this to all our sponsored bikes. This one will be delivered tomorrow. It won't have all its paint but it will have all the power it can.
Check back for the 2021 rider announcement. Hoping this is a long relationship that we get the most out-of as rider and sponsor..

With all the modern tooling and the fact that most companies have a design team that have never worked with tools. I bet the hands on work of most cnc programmers and product developers is minimal outside of the small tools needed to take a computer apart. I have come close to needing stitches On parts that have been cut to have an almost razor's edge.

It truly is hard to Believe how good modern tooling and metal working tools Have become.
This is simply the minor detail work that takes up so much time When properly preparing a motorcycle for race use..
Having to stick your hands blindly into body work to clean out gravel or do any type of maintenance you want to be sure you're not going to pull your hand out and need stitches or a tube of super glue to make it through the day..
Enjoy yourBefore and after of shock lower clevis deburr

Hello all. Would you like to know why your Kawasaki 250 or 300 and many other motorcycles run well until the last 3rd of your rpm just prior to the red line.. On- most occasions this happens While at 100% throttle position.. Well here you have it..
The issue you feel is mostnoften a dropped cylinder .. you will hear and odd tone and a drop off of power..
This motorcycle would quit firing one cylinder just before rev limit.
I wanted to get some base runs prior to putting new plugs in and making fuel and Ignition mods thru the ECU.

Well this is what I found after the removal of the spark plug caps.
The photo with the red lines you will see the area that I wiped with the tip of my finger and then you'll see the 2 arrows pointing to what I believe is dust from the arc of the spark plug because it matches with a Bring your silver mark with a Gray gunmetal color haze around it in the cylinder head.

This is by far not the 1st time I found this and on all of the motorcycles with the metal exposed on the spark plug cap we always always clean and tape that section up with a thin layer of electrical tape.

As a Tech tip this problem is well it's commonly found and proven to be spark when you are wide open throttle and then you slightly lift off of full throttle.
Through years of easy U testing we have found that the spark gets to be more significant in the upper rpms.
I believe in some of the flashing companies what they call dwell is commonly just a hotter spark and what I've yet to figure out through questions is whether the dwell is actually a tis it will be a time reference or an amount of spark.
I will check with my WOOLICH tech but as of a few years back Anthony was unable to tell me .
I believe it was actual amount of spark that we guessed.

Either way if you run plugs for a long time beyond their max efficiency you can often find the issue of dropping a cylinder at 100% tps will go away with a new plug. But it will eventually come back. When it does Once you feel it maintain the throttle at that position and then slightly lift to feel the cylinder kick back in.
