It all started last summer in 2025, when I traveled to El Salvador and had the opportunity to meet Gustavo from Subaru Club El Salvador, who made the connection with Don Paco possible. We sat down, talked about the project, and put together a plan with one goal in mind.

Over the last couple of months, we’ve been making adjustments, reviewing data, and testing the car little by little to get it where we wanted it.

Yesterday, the team traveled to Guatemala Raceway for the Top10 Motorsports event, and all that work started to pay off.

On a NO-PREP surface with no trackbite, in 93°F weather and a 3,315 ft DA, we finally got the opportunity to make one complete pass:

1.7 – 60’
6.9 – 1/8 Mile
10.6 @ 135 MPH – 1/4 Mile

And with that pass, a little piece of history was made:

FIRST SUBARU STI FROM EL SALVADOR INTO THE 10s!

No prep. 3,315 DA. 93°F. And there’s still more left in it.

Big thanks to the entire team that put in the work to make this possible, and a special thanks to Gustavo and Subaru Club El Salvador for making the connection and bringing us together on this project.
