It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Donald Overlander— known by most as “Grandpa Overlander”— longtime employee of Ground Up, dear friend, and wonderful grandpa.
Grandpa was so much more than an employee to us. He was a treasured part of our family and a beloved presence in the lives of everyone who knew him. His kindness, warmth, hard work, and gentle spirit touched so many hearts. He brought love, laughter, and meaning to both our lives and our business, and the memories we shared with him will remain with us forever.
We are deeply grateful for every moment we had with grandpa—for his stories, his wisdom, his love, and the countless ways he supported and cared for our family, our team, and our business. His presence brought comfort and joy, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
Grandpa’s love and legacy will live on through his family, the memories he created, and all the lives he touched.
Rest peacefully, Grandpa. You are deeply loved, you will be profoundly missed, and you will never, ever be forgotten. 🧡
