Moore Park racers and race fans, although we will not be hosting any racing this weekend at MPR, there will still be a weekend full of race related events being held locally to keep you entertained.

Saturday, June 27th, Reed MotorSports will be at Acadiana Mazda from 11am-3pm with some of their team racers and race equipment. While you’re there, you’ll not only get to see and touch the karts that get raced at MPR, but also Reed MotorSports Rescue 2 Spec MX-5 build.

On Sunday, June 28th, Nation Club LA/MS heads back to NMSP to continue with Round 4 of their Spring 2026 Club Championship battle. Not only will there be 206 racers from 5-65ish years old racing wheel to wheel, will also be inviting our local 2-stroke kart owners an opportunity to run in a separate practice run group during the Sunday race day.

RMS has been an integral part in the growth of not only the kart racing at MPR, but kart racing across the country and even occasionally outside the country. The weather forecast is looking good for the upcoming Saturday, June 13th, Night Race. Thats right Race #5 of our Moore Park Raceway Championship will be the first of our 3 planned night races for 2026.

For those who have yet to register, click "Register Now" at (https://mooreparkraceway.wordpress.com) where you’ll be able to sign up for not only Race 5, but also a pro-rated MPR 2026 Club Membership.

With an annual membership of $250, that gives you nearly unlimited access to the track, you’re unlikely to find a better deal in racing. Race entries are at $30 per race for members and $40 for non-members. Transponder rental is only $20 per race day. Just make sure to let us know if you need to reserve one.

For spectators looking to watch some incredible wheel to wheel action, we welcome you to watch from the bleachers or say hello to our championship contenders in the pits for absolutely no charge.

ATTENTION MEMBERS! The Track will be closed starting Wednesday as work on the racing surface will begin. We will post here when the track is re-opened!!! Stay Tuned

The safety of our racing family not only at the track but traveling to and from the Moore Park Raceway is our highest priority. After reviewing the worsening weather forecast that includes a high probability of thunderstorms storms and possible flooding we feel it is best to postpone our May 9th Race 5 to a later to be determined race date. As we update our race schedule, we’ll be sure to share it here.

In the meantime, the Nation Club LA/MS will be hosting their Round 4 race date on May 23rd. And we encourage you to enjoy a fun and exciting event with them at NOLA Motorsports Park.

For those of you monitoring the weather for Moore Park Raceway’s race this Saturday, May 9th. We wanted to share that although we are also keeping a watchful eye on things, our plans are always to completely run our scheduled races, rain or shine. The only exceptions will be if we are unable to safely race due to lightning or standing water on track. So, pack your rain tires (of any brand; remember MPR is an open tire track) and let’s go race. If you don’t have any rain tires, feel free to reach out here or via our club WhatsApp group so we can best assist you in acquiring a set.

In the unlikely situation that we are forced to cancel due to an escalation of the impending weather, we will publish the race day cancellation here on Facebook AND in our WhatsApp group.
