2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 4MATIC Wagon — Old-school Mercedes comfort with year-round traction. $3995

If you’ve been wanting a comfortable highway cruiser that still handles Indiana winters, this C240 4MATIC wagon is a solid fit. It’s that classic Mercedes feel — smooth, quiet, and steady — with all-wheel drive and a practical wagon body that can haul groceries, tools, or weekend gear.

This one has around 162k miles and presents clean for its age. Black Opal Metallic over charcoal premium leather gives it a simple, grown-up look, and the naturally aspirated V6 keeps things straightforward under the hood.

2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 4MATIC wagon

2.6L V6, naturally aspirated — built for smoothness and reliability

All-wheel drive for better control in rain and snow

Automatic transmission, easy for daily commuting

Comfortable leather interior, four doors, good cargo space

Rated around 17 mpg city / 23 mpg highway

The Nook Take

We like this wagon for folks who spend time on the road and want a calm, comfortable ride without stepping into a big SUV. It’s an older Mercedes, so you get that solid feel and highway manners, but in a body style that still works for family duty, runs to the shop, or hauling supplies. If you’re after a clean, all-wheel-drive runabout with a little bit of luxury feel, this one’s worth a drive.

2013 MINI Countryman Cooper S ALL4 — 6‑Speed, All‑Wheel‑Drive Fun - $7,850

If you’ve been wanting something practical for everyday use but still fun to drive, this MINI Countryman Cooper S ALL4 hits that sweet spot. It’s a small wagon with room for people and gear, all‑wheel drive for Indiana weather, and a 6‑speed manual that makes the daily commute a lot less boring.

This one has just over 104k miles, and for its age it presents clean and tight. It’s not a show car, but it feels well cared‑for, and the turbo 1.6L pulls strong without a bunch of drama.

• 2013 MINI Countryman Cooper S ALL4

• 1.6L turbo 4‑cylinder, 181 hp — peppy but still efficient

• All‑wheel drive for rain, snow, and gravel roads

• 6‑speed manual transmission for folks who still like to drive

• Rated around 25 mpg city / 31 mpg highway

• Four doors and wagon body style, easier in and out than the small MINIs

The Nook Take

We like this one for people who want something smaller and easier to park than an SUV, but still need four doors, cargo room, and year‑round traction. It feels tight on the road, steers sharp, and has enough power to be fun without beating you up at the pump. If you’re after a clean, all‑wheel‑drive runabout that doesn’t feel like every other crossover in the parking lot, this MINI is worth a test drive.

2003 Chevrolet Suburban — Classic, Simple, Dependable - $6,150

If you’ve been wanting an old-school Suburban that just does its job every day, this one fits the bill. It’s in great shape for its age and has that classic, no‑nonsense feel a lot of folks miss in newer SUVs.

This is a big, comfortable hauler that just plain works. Plenty of room for family, tools, gear, or a mix of all three. It’s been used, not pampered, but it’s been kept up well and it shows when you drive it.

• Smooth, tight ride for the miles

• Starts easy, runs right, and settles in like it’s ready to go anywhere

• Interior is clean and functional, not all beat to death

• Just a light touch of rust starting, nothing crazy or patched over

The Nook Take

We like this Suburban for people who need one vehicle to do a little bit of everything. School runs, jobsite, weekend trips, hardware store runs — it handles all of it without fuss. It’s not perfect and it’s not pretending to be, but it runs amazingly well and has the kind of basic, honest dependability our crowd is looking for.

2021 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus - NEEDS BATTERY — Clean, Quick, and Flat-Out Fun - $10,995

I’m a truck and hot rod guy. I wanted to hate this car. I can’t. It’s clean, in good condition, and it drives excellent. Solid Black outside, black inside, 119,557 actual miles, and it’s got the kind of instant torque that makes you grin every time you step on it.

The engineering is what surprised me most. The big screen is sharp, the controls are modern, and the electric drive is smooth, quiet, and fast. It’s got a ton of fun features, and it feels more like a gadget with attitude than a plain commuter car.

It does need a battery, and that’s reflected in the price. I’m taking it to Ohio in a couple weeks to get that handled, and we’ll be putting in a battery that does not have the known flaw tied to these affected years. That’s why this is a great deal for the right somebody who wants a clean Tesla without paying retail.

Why it stands out

Clean car, good condition, drives excellent.

Solid Black with black interior.

Big center screen and a ton of modern features.

Quick, quiet, electric power that’s actually fun.

Battery issue priced in.

The Nook take
This one surprised me. I expected a science project. Instead I found a car that’s genuinely fun to drive. If you want a clean Model 3 and understand what the battery situation means, this is a smart one to look at.

Highlights and Benefits
• 5.4L Triton V8 (300 hp, 365 ft-lbs), 6-speed automatic — proven, capable, easy to maintain.

• 4-wheel drive SuperCab — traction when you need it, room for the crew.

2021 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus — Beautiful Car, Runs Great, but Needs Battery, Priced to Move. Accepting Reasonable Offers. - $11,750

Beautiful Solid Black 2021 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus, rear-wheel drive, with Black interior and 119,557 actual miles. The car itself runs and drives superbly with an excellent interior and exterior — no funky odors, no beat-up seats, and the body presents exactly how you’d expect from a well-cared-for Tesla. Steering, brakes, suspension, screens, and features all behave like they should.

Now for the “let’s get real” part: it has a bad high-voltage battery pack. That’s the reason it’s here and the reason the price is way below retail. We’re selling this specifically for someone who knows how to repair or replace the pack, has a source for a used/reman unit, or wants a project/parts car. If you’ve got the skills, tools, or connections in the EV world, this is a rare chance to get into a clean Model 3 Standard Range Plus for a fraction of normal market value — and it’s priced exactly with that in mind.
