Something to Remember in the future!

First off, I hope everyone is managing as well as they can thru these uncertain times. We should all stay as positive as possible and know that this will pass!

Here is my rant of the day.

After this crisis everyone should really try and support local businesses in every aspect, including body shops. Almost all body shops in Lafayette are locally owned with the exception of one. I will not call out by name but I can tell you they have over 400 plus locations and two in Lafayette. This company, in my opinion can careless about its employees. Even though they have and have access to more funds than any of us can imagine they are the first to layoff employees. The majority of all the local shops here in Lafayette are trying their best to keep afloat! Hopefully the new SBA programs will help with retaining all employees. The above shop will not qualify for these programs because of its size so instead of dipping into their own money and hurting their P&L, they just say BYE. That should not be a business that we support!
I will close my rant by saying if you are ever told by your insurance company that you must go there for your repairs simply say " Nope! I am going to ____________, they are local and I only support Local! (blank represents the shop of your choice),

Auto Xtreme will remain open, we are a smaller shop with a small staff. If you find yourself in need of a collision shop, please tell your insurance company that you want to come to us. There will be no need to go to your insurance companies "approved shop". The majority of all estimates by your insurance company will be done thru pictures, we can also help you with that. Your safety is a top priority for us and all interaction can be handled with no contact and 6' distancing. From dropping your vehicle off to picking it up, you will only be dealing with one person. Your vehicle will be sanitized and have a one day no touch waiting period before it can be picked up.
We all know this is a stressful time for everyone so we will be offering discounts to help you with your deductible. If anyone has any questions please feel free to call us!
