Here are before and after pictures of the restoration of a 69 Corvette Coupe rear window storage tray. These were made of fiberboard, and the inside was covered in a velvet Flocking material. The fiberboard was prone to developing many cracks, and the Flocking material didn't last long either. Original's are not available, and the current replacement is plastic, and totally incorrect. As you can see from the pictures, these are restorable. Keep your Corvette original!

One of the things I run into in restoring vintage motorcycles and cars, is dented stainless steel and aluminum trim.
