Let’s be honest—our social media gets completely ignored because we’re flat-out busy and don’t use this as an advertisement. This is strictly a portfolio of the grind.
Just in the last few weeks, we’ve handled everything from heavy loaders and tractor clutch replacements to complex electrical/engine harness repairs, custom powder coating, ceramic-coated pistons for an engine overhaul, and all the basic maintenance in between. As you can see in the video, we cover a massive spectrum of repairs, and that’s exactly why the shop stays packed.

BOOKING UPDATE: We are officially CLOSED for the next 30 days to new work. We are at absolute peak capacity and have to clear the floor. We’ve got some massive, incredibly cool custom diesel and car projects coming down the pipeline (hence that last snippet in the video!), and we need to get current jobs out the door first. We are now booking for August and beyond.
OFFICE CLOSURE (TODAY - MONDAY): The office is closed starting today (Wednesday) through Monday for a much-needed summer vacation.
ONLY ONE TECH ON DUTY: We will have exactly one tech holding down the fort while the main mechanic is out. They need to be 100% dedicated to the floor, NOT answering the phone.

In all seriousness, they harvested a big crop of "oopsie daisies" today. It took a little extra effort to get this rig back on the ground, but we’re glad to report that everything ended well and nobody was hurt.
Just another day helping our community out of a tight spot!

This isn’t just another project rolling through the bays. This 1967 Mercury Monterey S55 has a hell of a story behind it, and it hits right here at home.
The owner is a local soldier from right here in our community. He started out as a customer, but over the course of this project, he became way more than that—he became a true friend and another brother to the shop. Every time he deploys, the car comes to us so we can grind on it and make sure it’s completely dialed in and ready for him the second his boots hit the ground back home.
He’s currently out on a two-year deployment, and he’s been asking for a Cora's Performance shirt forever. If a local brother is out there serving for two years, the least I could do was build him a custom shirt to match his ride.
Under the hood, we rebuilt this 428 FE engine into a 500 HP muscle car powerhouse, along with a fresh transmission and a ton of other work to make it solid. (I’ll drop a full breakdown on the actual vehicle build details in a later post!)
🎨 100% LOCAL & 100% REAL ART:
We wanted this to be special, so we kept everything right here in the community. The artwork was custom-designed by a local tattoo artist from a shop right here in our area. We believe in real art, real grit, and absolutely NO AI art bu****it. To top it off, the shirts are being printed by a local shop down the road. Local soldier, local artist, local printer.

Keeping up with social media is a job in itself, and honestly, it’s hard to be on a phone when your hands are usually covered in grease and have all the base fool with no chance to catch a break.
We know we’ve been quiet lately, but as you can see, the lot stays full for a reason.
Whether it’s dialing in a classic, tuning a sports car, trailer repair, or deep-diving into a semi, we text specialized in different aspects to keep the bays moving. At Cora’s Performance, we don’t just "rebuild" engines—we blueprint them.

For us, an engine isn't just a list of parts; it’s a work of art. Whether we’re diving into a heavy-duty semi-truck engine or a high-revving V8 muscle car, our process remains the same: total precision. We measure absolutely everything. We start with strict manufacturer specs as our baseline, but we don’t stop there.
We integrate years of documented aftermarket research to apply clearances and procedures that have been proven to outperform the factory standards. If there’s a better way to make it live longer or run smoother, that’s exactly how we build it.

This 2009 ISX Cummins came into Cora’s Performance with the classic ISX nightmare: blown camshaft bushings and a cracked head. We didn't just put it back together—we engineered the weak points out of it.

The Build Specs:
Stage 3 Head: Upgraded high-nickel casting for superior heat resistance and increased coolant 30% more flow.
Valvetrain: Brand new camshafts, fresh rocker rollers, and stronger valve upgrades.
The Secret Sauce: We anchored it all down with new cryo-treated head bolts for maximum tensile strength and zero-stretch reliability.
Precision: Liner protrusion verified and fresh fluids throughout.
And of course every time we work on an engine we make sure the wire loom and wires are all repaired, attached with proper fasteners and clean looking.

The Cora’s Standard:
Even on a "head replacement" we don't just deliver a running engine—we deliver a masterpiece. We finished this build with custom chrome powder-coated piping and our signature high-flake red paint as well as ceramic coated turbo exhaust and exhaust manifold all done in house.

We take pride in every bolt we turn. When you spend your hard-earned money at our shop, we make sure your rig looks better, runs harder, and lasts longer than the day it left the factory.

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but for the best possible reason: we have been absolutely buried. Between full engine rebuilds, performance builds, CV joints, transmissions, and everything from daily drivers to semi-trucks, this has officially been our busiest year to date.
To be honest, we don’t really use social media to hunt for work—our customers keep us plenty busy through word of mouth—but we do like using this page as a portfolio to show what’s coming out of the shop.
We truly appreciate everyone who trusts Cora's Performance with their vehicles!
