Don't forget that hiway 8 Eastbound will be closed for the weekend starting sometime late on Friday 13th. They will reroute to the 125. I'm going to avoud El Cajon, Santee and all points in between if I can get away with it.

Have you noticed one of your turn signals is flashing faster than the others all of a sudden? We have found that usually means you have a bad bulb in that circuit. I don't know if it just happens or if the manufacturers planned it that way. But it's a sure way to tell you might have a bad bulb in your system. Unfortunately, bulbs aren't as easy to change as they used to be. You might need help. If you do need help, we can check and replace the bulbs. If you already bought one, we'll put it in.

The cost of vehicle services has gonje way up. One reason, of course, is the price of crude oil. But the biggest cause iis the complexity of the new engines being produced. Smaller oil passages and lots more of them to start. Expensive additive mixtures that have to be added to the oil to keep it flowing, lubricating, etc. The old 20/50 weight oil is a thing of the dark past. I hope this makes sense to you on why an oil change price has gone through the atmosphere.
We also recommend using much shorter service intervals than the manufacturer recommends. After all, if the car goes 250,000 miles, instead 100,000, they sell fewer cars.

Ladies and gentlmen, boys and girls, we are in the process of changing marketing companies, including appointment reminders. There is a chance you will get a reminder or request for feedback, from the old and new companies. The old company doesn't seem to want to let go of much data. So, if you get a text that you have opted out of previously, please just opt out again with the new company. The new guys are AutoVitals. With them we are initiating digital inspections of your vehicle. Please be patient with us during this transition.

You can go and simply donate, but wait! There is more! You can make a food basket by choosing different options pictured or choose one of the other bags of stuff. Pretty neat. Air conditioning service. Our shops are trained and equipped to service and repair your vehicle's air conditioning and heating systems. This includes up-to-the-latest new freon systems. We are finding that mechanical ssiues are more common with the ducts and doors systems than in the past, but we can do it all.

Cat converter thefts are taking place everywhere. We have offered to etch information onto your cat with no charge. The response has been very low.
I can only think that people think the insurance company will pay for the loss. But there almost always is a deductible. There is always the inconvenience of not being able to drive your vehicle. What a pain. Putting your numbers on your cat won't prevent these issues. But it will give the cops a fighting chance to bust the thieves.
We are also seeing a new problem. Converters are often on national backorder or obsolete because of age. So then, a replacement has to be ok'd and a visit to the smog referee is likely to ensue.
We will etch your numbers onto your accessible converter for no charge.

There is a pretender in our midst. Someone started a shop in another part of La Mesa/Lemon Grove and called it Helix Auto Center. Not the same as Helix Auto Care or Greg's Automotive Helix. Those are my names. I heard he recently had to sell the shop. I have only had one customer trying to get me to honor his warranty, but beware of where you are at.
