New turbo, injectors, KW Shocks rebuilt, and Lambda sensors in 2022. MoTec data and video system. Krontec Air Jacks. Raced in SRO TC America (formerly known as Pirelli World Challenge) by Dynamic Racing Solutions. Multiple top 5 finishes. 4th place finish at Sebring with a tough BOP. Car is very capable. Update to the BMW E60 M5 S85 Rod bearing replacement job. The OEM bearings removed from this engine were in really good condition. This engine has been using Motul 10W60 7100 Full Synthetic oil and has been warmed up properly before driving at high speeds. We elected to replace the bearings with new WPC treated bearings from Turner Motorsport since we’re already this deep in it. Yes, we could have sent oil samples to Blackstone for analysis, but the effort was to be proactive rather than reactive. The car is all back together and running beautifully. BMW E60 M5 rod bearing replacement in progress. In this particular engine with 51k miles, the original bearings were perfectly fine; but they are being replaced as a precaution with WPC treated bearings. More info and pics to come soon.
