Is your junkyard LS Swap not running like you think it should?? A lot of so-called performance shops have been popping up lately, claiming budget LS swaps as a specialty. They’re offering cheap labor and even cheaper parts. We can’t tell you how many of these so-called budget jobs we fix from other shops here.
One of the major things we find is injectors are dirty or simply not functioning. “it ran good in the donor vehicle” is not very reassuring when you’re spending thousands of dollars. Here you can see one cylinder down almost 40% from the others! Two other injectors were way off as well. After we cleaned the injectors, corrected the tune and some other installation shortcomings the customer is enjoying their car like they should.
Make sure the shop that you choose has all the correct equipment, expertise and data to do the job correctly the first time.
