Ended the year on a hugely productive note and it makes me so happy.
The Subaru project that has been ongoing is slowly coming to an end; The engine was difficult to locate and then lots of refreshing was done only to find out the clutch system is too worn causing failure to disengage clutch for shifting. Add to that the engine has a slight misfire, Hunting those down as I can to get this beast back on the road.
Next up was a 2003 GMC 3500 that came in for locked rear brakes; Comes to discover it needed wheel bearings in addition to rotor/pad/caliper replacement along with all brake hoses and a hardline. Then moving up to the engine bay revealed a bad hydrobooster and brake master cylinder. Get all those taken care of to the hum of the owner requesting a tuneup before being done and now this big boy is back in service...middle of all this work, in came a 96/97 Accord for a clutch master cylinder replacement as an emergency swap...
Then it was on to the 12-13 VW Jetta which got sideswiped by a truck somewhere in LA, cleaned up all the tire debris ruboff as I could along with replacing the mirror and off she went back to the roads of life... round that off with some maintaince on a 15 CRV for lower control arms and alignment and then finished control arms on my Civic so it stops wobbling 🤣 That also needed tires 🤬 LOL Loving it...
Finally finding time in between parts delays and weather to strip down and rebuild my trusty impact gun that ive had for close to 10 years now... She alone is getting rebuilt/refreshed and also some port work on the internals to increase pressure to grab a little more power 🥰
Loving it all and can't wait for the future of 23, thanks for the support everyone!! Much appreciated and happy new year!
