I’ve been spending time on myself to be mentally reacquainted and feel like a human being again. Personally, for the last 2-3 years I’ve dealt with some demons and struggles that I’m sure others can relate to. Hitting the beach for a few days last week centered me. While I intend for Noble Garage to be a Honda-based platform and niche there are other chassis & car enthusiast friends that, in general, are just good humans to be around. Occasionally you might see them here.
About 6 years ago I acquired my gx470. It’s been a great vehicle while it’s getting some age on it. I can fully appreciate that it’s a great platform to have as a support vehicle for my hobby of having a “racecar” and a daily driver.
It’s going to require some maintenance to keep it in check, so I intend on doing that before getting too crazy with the Civic I purchased earlier this month. Recently I just had the lift installed on the front as well as doing new rear airbags from Arnott. I kept the airbags so that I still had a reasonable 6500-pound towing capacity and went with the Pro Truck Coil Overs and rear shocks. I set the coil overs at the lowest setting which leveled things out pretty nicely. I paired them with a set of upper control arms.
It rides amazingly and I look forward to camping this fall to keep my mental capacity in check.
Finally, I had a good time Saturday with my buddy, Jerry, We got behind the mics and did a 2-hour session to get our podcast rolling. I’m excited to see where that lands and hopefully, we can look at being more consistent with that very soon.
