Atomic Speed Shop is STILL looking to add at least 1 new member to the family.
We're restructuring the team and tightening up the shop!
The folks that are here now are some of the best, love what we do and want to be successful and grow!!
If you can show up on time and get the work done in a reasonable time frame, you might be the person we are looking for!!
We've got an AMAZING campus and a team to match... but we need some more help!
This is a SKILLED position.
No trainees or apprentices at this time.
The nessesary skills currently needed are strong ELECTRICAL and Mechanical abilities.
Our average car is 50 years old.
50 years of neglect, novice repairs and upgrades, or just bad work.
You need diagnostic ability.
You'll need knowledge of electrical systems and limits.
We do LOTS of wiring repairs and alot of wiring harness replacements!
2nd, you'll need attention to detail.
What comes in, needs to go out BETTER than it came in!
No nicks, dings, dents or scratches!!
3rd, mechanical ability.
We do suspension repairs, brakes, body alignments (hinges, glass, etc)... as well as full restoration, fabrication all the way to maintenance for customers.
So an all around good sense of VINTAGE automotive repair.
Lastly, we're looking for a good fit PERSONALITY wise.
We are a tight nit group.
We work together, help each other, eat together and like to goof, while still getting the work done at a top notch level.
We work a 4-10 work week (M-Thurs 7a-6p), great pay scale, PTO and some other cool benefits.
If you love working on vintage cars and hotrods 1st and foremost, have the skill set to excell and would love the opportunity to do it in an amazing setting, PM me directly with a short bio, work experience and why you think you'd be right for our team!
We are based just outside Oak Ridge Tennessee, right off Pellissippi (162).
Thanks,
Donny Schreiner
