We have lost another good friend. He was a longtime customer and our salesperson from our oil supplier, but mostly, our friend. Not only Mark, but his entire family, Julie, Anna, and Sydney, his siblings and their families. God Bless this family and many friends in this time of loss.

We have lost another close friend. Both I and Charlie #1 knew Charlie Severance long before Auto Dynamics came to be. I knew and worked on his cars at I-75 Shell back when he was a state representative. Charlie #1 knew him and worked on his cars at Auto Technicians during the same time frame. He was a character to say the least, but as good a friend as you would ever want. He will be missed. Our family grows smaller.

Everything is going well. Health concerns at our age are to be expected. I just wanted to say that I miss everyone. I don't miss getting up before daylight. I hope everyone is doing well.

Since my original post letting everyone know about my situation and my decision to close, I thought I would share a little update. The surgery was done December 11th but very much later in the day. Didn't get into the room until 9:30 pm. Surgery went well and we got a 100% thumbs up from the doctor. Discharged four days later just to get home to a power outage and trying to make it to the Walmart pharmacy before they closed while fighting getting around the Halls Christmas parade. Barely made it. That was a fun evening. Power came back on around 10:30 that night. So overall, in the past month, slow progress is being made. Still so much pain to deal with. The surgeon said it would take about three months to start to feel normal. Thanks for your concern and support and prayers.

It was a lot easier when you were younger. Carrying an engine up to the attic 30 years ago was easier than 3 old guys trying to get it down.
