Had a great weekend at a week ago. After most of the season plagued with clutch problems we were finally able to overcome that issue and started to see the true potential of all the work we have put into the car over the past year. The car ran over 2 seconds a lap faster there than it ever has before and put us within a few seconds of the front runners. Ended up qualifying strong with p4 and then ran strong race holding a 3rd place finish with the extremely fast first and second place cars still within reach crossing the checkered flag. Then by default took first place because of flag violations during the race to the p1 and p2 cars. Ran a strong race again in the second race with a p3 finish and then was running a strong 3rd race in p3 with p1 and p2 close in my sights until the motor started loosing power and lap times started falling off. Was able to hold onto a strong 5th place finish with the motor coming apart going across the checker. We will get another motor in the car for the championship race at Road Atlanta in a few weeks and will hopefully pick up the 30 or so horsepower we have been shy in the process.

Finally managed to get footage from few weeks ago at CMP edited. All in all it was a good weekend. Started with the pole in qualifying and an uneventful 1st place finish in the 1st race on Saturday. In the 2nd race Sunday morning we started off strong and held onto first through most of the race including a mishap late in the race but ended up giving up 1st place with a few laps left due to transmission failure but held on for second place. Then limped the car to a 4th place finish in the 3rd race to finish up the weekend.

FOR SALE!!! $14,000

This is a very well prepared GTS3 car currently running in a large competitive field of TCR cars, BMW's and other VW's with Nasa Southeast. Two weeks ago the car podiumed 2 out of 3 races with a second and 3rd place finish at Roebling Road and would have likely podiumed the 3rd race but lost 4th gear on the start (currently being repaired). The car does not include wheels and tires, seat and harness in the pictures but is race ready otherwise. Car does come with two sets of wheels not pictured. Ideally I would like to sell the car to someone in the south who would like to join us in GTS or someone can buy this beast and take it home to hurt some feelings. Save your self the trouble and money and buy this car. This car has at least 30k invested in it. Car has 240hp 260hp and 300hp files and weighs around 2200 lbs without the driver.

I would like to thank everyone that reached out and were willing to help and solve our problem on saturday! 💯

We worked hard changing the motor out sat night and were able to collect what points we could during Sundays races. The seasons dream of a championship with a hard fighting group of friends that have made up an unbelievable gts3 class is still alive! Now we rebuild again for the last race of the season in a short 4 weeks. 🤞

Welcome to the fresh new page for everything MF Motorsports related. We are serious VW enthusiasts who eat, breath and sleep motorsports. We are currently active with Nasa and run competitively in the German Touring series in class 3 or GTS3. We currently campaign a 1990 4 door Golf with a 3.1 12 valve vr6 power plant and many other modifications we will continue to share on this page. At the moment we are currently leading the points race for 2023 with Nasa Southeast in GTS3 running against 6 other regular VW racers and a few BMW's and a random Porsche here or there. Our overall goal is to continue to develope the mk2 into a nationally competitive car in GTS3 against the e46's that have dominated the class for the the last 10-15 years. We have completed 8 weekends so far this year with 3 races per weekend with two more stops at CMP and the championship race at Road Atlanta the first of December. We hope you enjoy the page!
