It was a rough night for at least five kayakers on Big Piney near Long Pool last night. An overnight rescue left one in the hospital and others waiting until daylight to get out.

Our next themed Full Moon Paddle is coming, and this time we're calling all Vikings, Pirates, and Adventurers!

Dress up as a fearless Viking, a legendary pirate, or just come as yourself and enjoy a magical night on the water under the full moon. Costumes are completely optional, but they definitely make things more fun!

We're still working out the details, but there may be a few contests, bragging rights, and surprises along the way.

Whether you arrive ready to raid villages, search for buried treasure, or simply paddle beneath the moonlight, we'd love to have you join us.
