Job Description:
non cdl driver position
Must live in Klamath Falls due to police response requirements.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
* Professional appearance
* Valid Oregon Driver License and clean driving record
* Must pass drive test
* Must be bondable (no felony convictions in last 15 years)
* No misdemeanor convictions in past 5 years (Police contract requirement)
* MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST before hiring
* Must be able to pass Oregon State Police background test
* Have the ability to take direction well and is willing to learn
* Must have reliable transportation and cell phone
Job Duties include but are not limited too the following:
* Provide roadside assistance for stranded motorists
* Clean and do maintenance on vehicles, up to med duty trucks
* Move and maneuver tools and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
* Maintain daily vehicle and time/mileage logs
* Work will not be limited to towing only
Hours And Benefits:
* 30/40 hours per week
* Paid sick days after 6 months
* Vacation pay after 1 year
