Help Us Keep Families Moving Forward

Right now, Pay It Forward Ministries has several people who need help getting reliable transportation back on the road.

One is a faithful family who has spent more than 15 years serving others through music ministry and community outreach. After several medical emergencies, a recent job loss, and a major automotive setback, they need help with urgent repairs so they can continue working, get their children to school, and rebuild financially.

Another is a single father working hard to support his children through college. After having his vehicle repaired at another shop, catastrophic damage was done to the engine, leaving him facing the need for an engine replacement he simply cannot afford.

These are just two of the needs in front of us right now.

Your giving helps us step in when people have nowhere else to turn — keeping safe, reliable transportation within reach and helping families keep moving forward.

A Summer Update from Pay It Forward Motors & Pay It Forward Ministries

It’s been a busy summer for us!

We’ve been working hard on both sides of Pay It Forward — serving our customers through Pay It Forward Motors while also doing as much ministry work as we possibly can through Pay It Forward Ministries.

Expanding the business this year has allowed us to take on more ministry work, but the need continues to grow faster than we can keep up. We’ve helped countless people keep their existing vehicles on the road, avoiding repair costs that would otherwise be unaffordable.

Recently, we also had the opportunity to give a vehicle a second life by providing it to someone who needed a reliable way forward.

The vehicle went to a single mother who had been in an accident. Unfortunately, the insurance payout was less than what she still owed on her vehicle, making it nearly impossible for her to replace it and move forward.

We were able to take an older vehicle, give it a second life, and give it to her. Our hope is that it will provide reliable transportation while giving her the opportunity to save money and eventually move toward a better vehicle in the future.

That’s what Pay It Forward is all about — not just fixing cars, but helping people move forward.

God’s timing never stops amazing us.

Recently, someone generously donated a van to Pay It Forward Ministries. Around that same time, another local ministry reached out to us—their van, which they rely on to transport kids and serve in their community, had just broken down.

What felt like two separate moments quickly became one clear picture.

Because of that donation, we repaired, prepared, and delivered a reliable vehicle to them in just two weeks. This got them back to doing what they’re called to do: showing up for kids and families in some of the hardest to reach places in our cities, building relationships, and helping them experience Christ's love in a real and personal way.

We’re reminded again that God is always working behind the scenes, connecting needs with provision in ways we couldn’t plan if we tried.

Thank you to everyone who plays a part in this mission. You never know how God might use your “yes” to impact someone else.

Pay It Forward Motors & Ministries started with a simple desire — to help people with car repairs who couldn’t afford them. What began as a small act of service has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

When Mark was laid off from his job and God began calling me into something new, we took a step of faith. Together, we opened a for-profit repair shop that works hand-in-hand with a nonprofit ministry — all with one mission: to keep people moving and share hope along the way.

Today, both Mark and I have left our previous jobs and are serving full time through the repair shop and the ministry. By God’s grace, we’ve been able to help over 100 repair shop customers and more than 10 ministry families who truly could not afford the work their vehicles needed.

Right now, we have 3 donated vehicles that need repairs so they can be placed into the hands of people who need reliable transportation. We also want to continue helping every person God sends our way — whether that’s through affordable repairs, ministry assistance, or providing dependable vehicles.
