🔧 2020 JEEP WRANGLER 3.6L — OIL COOLER REPLACEMENT 🔧

A big THANK YOU to M&M Offroad for trusting HWY 67 Complete Auto Care to take care of this 2020 Jeep Wrangler 3.6L and its leaking engine oil filter housing/oil cooler assembly!

The oil cooler/filter housing assembly is a common leak point on the 3.6L Pentastar engine. Because the assembly sits down in the valley of the engine underneath the intake manifold, oil can accumulate there before the leak becomes obvious.

⚠️ COMMON CAUSES OF FAILURE:
• Failed or deteriorated seals and O-rings
• Heat cycling and age of the housing
• Cracking or warping of the housing
• Stress or damage around the oil filter cap/housing during previous service

🔎 COMMON SIGNS OF A LEAKING OIL COOLER:
• Oil collecting underneath the intake manifold
• Oil running down the back or sides of the engine
• Oil spots underneath the vehicle
• Burning-oil smell
• Unexplained loss of engine oil
• Visible oil around the oil filter housing area

On this Wrangler, we removed the leaking assembly and installed the replacement oil cooler/filter housing to get it sealed back up and ready for the road. 🔧💪

What starts as a small oil leak can quickly become a much bigger problem. Allowing the engine oil level to get too low can result in poor lubrication and potentially expensive engine damage.

This 2019 Ford Mustang came in with a noticeable noise coming from the rear end. After performing a thorough diagnosis, we traced the problem to a failed pinion bearing inside the rear differential.

Rather than guessing and throwing parts at it, we identified the source of the problem and replaced the rear differential assembly to get this Mustang back on the road smooth, quiet, and ready to go! 🐎💨
