When you’re a year-round business in a seasonal community, you have to think outside the box and still remain close to home. River Glass & Tint LLC certainly understands the idea, striking a balance between versatility, affordability, and service that few can match. The business is an excellent fit for its community, and adept at supplying all the glass needs for a region like the Northern Neck. During the "on" season, when weekenders and vacationers arrive in force, most of the businesses they will be patronizing make use of vinyl signs and attractive, professional window tinting provided by River Glass. Vacationers and locals alike always benefit from River Glass's quality work on automobiles and boats. During the "off" season, River Glass stays competitive by providing very low cost on even small projects like panes and mirrors. However, in a small town it is not just the products and prices that matter. River Glass is staffed by people who live in and give back to the community. Employees are helpful on the job and actively seek to leave a positive mark on the people they interact with. Ric, the "Glass man" has been nominated by a member of his local church after he assisted a local elderly woman with her lawnmower while out on assignment. While an expansion into lawnmower repair is not planned at this time, Ric and River Glass both maintain a consistently positive stance toward "Good Samaritan" work and aiding the citizens of their town. Tax breaks for homeowners with tinted glass, discounts for military personnel and mobile locations further demonstrate River Glass's commitment to versatility, quality and community. River Glass is a special business because it provides a wide range of services that is tailored to fit its home region, while never neglecting its role as a member of the community as well as that of a business.
