So I'm going to start doing some posts on the FD. So to start with I bought it knowing that the water gasket was bad and leaking coolant out of the overflow tank. So is that being said we started fixing some of the small stuff like the intercooler piping needed to be cut and repositioned so that it flowed better. Then we noticed that the radiator was kind of rough so we repaired it and repositioned it along with the condenser back in the front of the car. So after that as we are taking the motor out of the car we noticed that the wiring harness was absolutely fried pluses it was the original that was desperately needing replacement. So we did that and as we were taking the motor apart there were a few pieces that were super questionable for example the corner seals fell out in two pieces but the good news is it has already had a big Street Port done on the housings with 3mm seals. After disassembling the motor and figuring out everything it needed we had them cleaned up and now they're back for ceramic coat and mods. We're also going with half inch studs seeing the ones that were in it were original.

It was back to work this weekend on the 93 RX7. Found a few issues as we were pulling it apart, the header has a few cracks in it and it needs to get deeper on the inside and a tiny port. Apart from that there was missing Hardware and other places the bolts were crossed threaded or stripped. We're almost halfway there so next we're going to finish stripping the engine bay so we can put in the heat shield.

Did a little bit of work this past week on Richard Rich Shields dirt track car. Pretty exciting project and a little nostalgic working with the iconic race cars again.

A little tig welding. James had the cage inspected for FIA regulations and I was told that passed with praise.
