Stunning 996.2 carrera came in after the owner noticed oil residue in the coolant reservoir.

We diagnosed a failing oil cooler, the M96’s heat exchanger sits between the oil and coolant circuits. When it goes, oil migrates into the coolant side. Caught it before it became something worse.
While we had her apart we knocked out the following: AOS, engine mounts, side muffler deletes, oil filler neck, maintenance with Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40, and a full transmission service.
Running cooler, running cleaner. Ready for more miles through the Texas Hill Country. 🤠

The owner is doing a great job reviving this thing back to prime and we are happy to be of help.

Keeping this thing as period correct but with a little more down the straight. Thing is an incredibly easy driver. Smooth through everything, and honestly impressive how well it handles the heat out here. We will post some pov driving clips soon.

This Lapis Blau 996 Turbo has been under our care for the past few years, and during that time it has earned a great deal of respect from our team. It stands as an example of what consistent maintenance and proper ownership can achieve over time.

Marc, the owner, drives this car regularly throughout Texas to visit family and takes it on road trips across the country. He enjoys the car without placing unnecessary focus on mileage or market value, choosing instead to experience it as it was designed to be used.
