Not close. To spec. This torque wrench sets each lug nut to the exact number your vehicle calls for, and every wheel that leaves our shop gets the same treatment.

When it comes on, it is not always a slow leak. Sometimes it is a sensor that has quit, and the only way to know is to read it. This tool talks to each sensor and tells us exactly what is going on.

That is why we test it, not guess at it. This meter reads your battery in seconds and tells us the truth. State of health, charge, and cranking power, all on the screen.

If it is strong, we tell you it is strong and leave it alone. If it is fading, you hear about it before it leaves you stranded on a cold morning.

There is a new face in the diesel bay.

This is Ryan Dickey. He has worked on diesel engines professionally since 2010, and he joined us this month.

Ryan is ASE Master certified, and he also holds the L1 and L2 advanced level certifications, which cover advanced engine performance and electronic diesel engine diagnosis. He was factory trained by Ford and has carried that training across the domestic brands.

Here is the kind of work he lives for. A Sierra 1500 came in with a torque converter that would drop out of lockup, but only after several hours of driving, and then it would clear up on its own. A dealership technician had already been chasing it. Ryan tied it to a fault code that returned every single time, went to the harness, and found one wire with light chafing where the loom passed an air conditioning line in front of the alternator. One wire.

He repaired it, rerouted the loom away from the problem, and sent the truck home fixed.

That is what honest work done right looks like. Not a guess. Somebody who keeps looking until he finds the actual cause.
