Getting ready for the 45th Annual World Whale Day Parade. If you’re on-island and want to check it out, it’ll be this Sunday at 8:30 AM. It will take place along South Kīhei Road, beginning at Alanui Ke Aliʻi and continuing down to Kalama Park.

If you have a chance, come out and enjoy the parade with us.

We’ll be participating with one of our cars — Mano, our Arctic Blue Porsche Speedster — dressed up as a shark. Jerome will be driving, and Yvonne will be in the passenger seat.

Our Ivory Speedster will be in the parade as well. Lani will serve as the chariot for a local singer and ukulele player , surrounded by the .

🚘✨ From renters to owners — and 2,000 rentals later! ✨🚘
October 4 marks 7 years since we took the wheel at Maui Roadsters, but our connection goes back even further.

In March 2016, we came to Maui to celebrate Yvonne’s 50th birthday. Jerome planned the trip and asked Yvonne what she wanted to do — she wasn’t sure, so she threw the question out on Facebook. One of our MINI Cooper friends replied: “You HAVE to rent one of those Porsche Speedster replicas from a place called Maui Roadsters.”

So we did! We rented Mano, the blue Speedster, and took it on the Road to Hana. Jerome drove, and we had an unforgettable day — the kind of experience you talk about for years after.

Fast forward to April 2018 — we got an email from the owners of Maui Roadsters saying they were looking to sell and wondered if any past customers might be interested.

Yvonne was at home in Michigan, Jerome was visiting family in France — and Maui was 6 hours behind her and 12 hours behind him. Yvonne replied, “We’re probably interested, but I need to talk to my husband first!”

At the time, we were both working in the auto industry in the Detroit area. 5 months later, Jerome left his job at the end of that September and moved to Maui to begin the transition. Yvonne followed after wrapping up work with Chrysler and getting the house ready to sell. By October 3, 2018, Jerome was settling in and running the business on his own — and Yvonne joined a few months later.

Maui Roadsters has been around since 2013, and we’re proud to be its third owners. We have four of the original cars that are still going strong 12 years later — including Mano, the car that started it all for us.

And just last week, we hit 2,000 rentals!
2,000 couples, explorers, newlyweds, and adventurers who’ve trusted us to be part of their Maui memories.

We’re beyond grateful — and so excited for what’s next.
