Another good day deep sea fishing on board the INXS today South of Key West. It's been tough but we are making it happen. Today we pulled the larger baits in hope for a Blue...
The sea w**d is certainly making things difficult still, but there are fish out there to be found. We managed four mahi today with a bonus larger bull.
towards the end of our trip we noticed something red in the distance out in 700 ft of water, went to check it out.. It was as 2 person life raft.. It was empty and kinda leaves a good story I'm sure.. Just no telling. We did our part to make sure no one was in it.
No success on a bill fish we were hunting but maybe tomorrow..

A fun day for these folks on a six hour fishing charter on board the INXS. Fishing has been a challenge with all of the w**d and the many smaller dolphin that have been around. Today was a bit of an improvement with a few good mahi and a wahoo.
The w**d was pretty well behaved till 10:30 am or so and we were able to work our deep troll electric Cannon down riggers to knit together a box of fish for our 3 anglers before the winds tore them apart - again... Thanks to First mate Garretts hard work keeping the baits shagged.
A first of these species for all of our anglers. We were blessed to have the bites. We had some shorts eat as well and another legal size mahi that made off with its life by spitting the hook.
Tomorrow and Saturday we are trolling the Big Baits all day looking for the man in the blue suit "marlin" We will keep ya posted.. Rods and baits are ready and we have High Hopes..

What a great charter! Captain Steve worked hard to get us on the fish and First Mate Gerald worked hard on the baits and set up to get the right combination. Most Mahi we’ve ever caught in one day. Incredible!!

This is our second time fishing with Captain Steve. Definitely will be back!!

10 was a good round number of mahi-mahi our guys wanted to keep today. Nothing huge and very few small ones for us as we worked the w**d lines or should we say "w**d mess" between 700 and 2000 ft of water off Key West today on board the INXS.
It's always nice having fellow veterans on the boat. These guys were all Marine Corps.
A pretty cool sighting we saw ginormous submarine that came in, apparently to drop somebody off and then go back out to sea.
The w**d today was pretty disorganized with the light southeast wind yet a pretty good strong eastbound current the w**d did not get easily managed till later in the day, where we took the shot of these large patches that were holding fish.
We found that trolling the larger lures and ticking up our trolling speed has helped get the attention of the larger mahi.
Believe it, or not some of our fish came off the deep troll, First mate Garrett kept it going even in the w**d constantly cleaning the baits.
These guys went home with a nice group of fish..
The weather has been perfect and the fishing is great. We are truly blessed.

A really fun short day South of Key West this past Thursday the fish keep coming.. A great catch of Mahi before 10 am.. because we are pretty fast we are able to reach the fish on 4 and 6 hour trips during the summer time when the numbers are pretty far offshore..

The hits keep coming. These fish photos are from Saturday the 13th of June. These guys booked a full day with us on board the INXS and did very well. Fishing continues to be consistent with larger fish showing up. One of these mahi were over 30 #.. Thats a lot of meat..

The Mahi keep coming- another great day of fishing - these folks whacked em early last week... Limits of these tasty fish are being caught daily out of Key West.. Fantastic weather and loads of fish are what we are experiencing off shore here in Key West fishing for mahi / dolphin daily. Everyone catches no mater the age or experience.
Great weather is expected to stay that way for the foreseeable future according to the 10 day forecast.
The INXS is like a fast floating house - you can beat the summer heat with our ICE Cold Air conditioning, full kitchen and 2 clean bathrooms.
