After 11 years, Maria Ritter, co-founder and the smile that greets you as you walk through our doors, will be leaving our little shop to pursue a career and her passion in the marble and granite industry. She will be dearly missed and I know that her new employer will be as lucky as Jason and I were to have such a dedicated, hard working, beautiful spirit to start and end each day with. This Holiday Season, I'll be collecting items for a homeless shelter that is the only DAY shelter in the community and the only emergency night shelter that serves men and women. Bethesda provides shelter and supportive services to the chronically homeless, regardless of their personal situations.

These are their URGENT needs, if you'd like to donate items, you can drop them off at the garage at 254 W. Mountain St. here in Kernersville, the deadline is December 23th, or I can donations in the form of a check written out to 'Bethesda Center for the Homeless'. - I'll be delivering them on Christmas Eve when some close friends and I will be serving lunch at the center. - thanks and please share!
