Had some guys pick up a couple more wins the past couple weeks.
Matt Urban grabbed the sport mod win at Gravity Park Speedway (WI) 2 weeks ago. That’s his third win of his rookie season!
Blaine Webster picked up the Modified win this past weekend at the Eldon Raceway (IA). His first A Mod win and first Peterson Memorial win.
Ryan Walker won the sport mod feature at Davenport this past Saturday night on cheaters night, but went completely legal to do sone testing, so cant complain about that with an old 2007 GRT car 😂😂 I didn’t realize he still knew where Victory Lane was.
Now, Corey Foyle didn’t pick up a win necessarily, but the sport mod driver from Down under did qualify for 2 A mains at Boone during Super Nats week in his first trip there. As well as only having a handful of races in that old 2014 Victory car. Definitely a win for him and that team. Glad I was able to meet you last week my guy! Time to build bsck better for next year’s trip.

‼️Important Update‼️The past week has been a large process of moving. I have moved everything into the fabrication shop in Keosauqua, Iowa. So that means VLS is under one roof in its entirety finally! Everything is set up and shocks have already been leaving the shock room. With this being done, the shipping address has changed. So please keep that in mind if you’ve shipped stuff here before and have the address saved, you’re going to need to update it. The new address is:

Just a PSA for Bilstein customers. These 2 fill plugs pictured don’t need drilled/rounded out like the little gas screwed. These are “IMCA Approved” fill plugs so they are good to go the way they come. Drilling these out makes for more of a pain in the ass for builders. The little screws still need rounded out (Why? I don’t know. Doesn’t make any sense to me but, Ya know, IMCA and Super Nats) so if you’re going to a big race or Super Nats where they’ll bitch about it, go ahead and do that to them. But these two, they’re perfectly good to go so no worries folks. Thank you and have a great weekend!

Quite a few folks know, but not everyone, but about 5 months ago I started a full time day job back up working on a Snap-On tool truck for a local franchise. So I’ve just been doing the shocks at night since then. And it’s been super busy between both jobs. So I’ve gotten behind on the little stuff, like this. So want to catch up and give out a congratulations to these folks here for their feature wins over the past month or so.

Attention folks: I got these packages in the mail yesterday and this is how they showed up. I haven’t had time to go through them to make sure everything is there, but fingers crossed… I know I’ve made a couple posts about shipping in years past, but I’ll make another one… Gotten quite a few packages this year that are like this, so please when boxing stuff up make sure each end is entirely taped. Shocks also have to have sufficient packing on the inside so they don’t move around. Shocks are anywhere from 4-7lbs depending on the brand, and when they’re not in a box tight they will try to go through the cardboard when they’re get thrown around. These companies toss boxes around and have them slide down conveyors and such, and when that box comes to an abrupt stop, the shocks try to go through the weakest part. So please pack them tight with packing paper, bubble wrap, or foam. Make sure there is plenty of tape. And can even put an extra layer of cardboard on either end so the heim ends don’t break through so easy. I have had guys lose shocks in the mail and I hate that for them. So please please please take a little time and make sure the box is big enough and packed correctly. 3 extra minutes and 4 dollars more shipping is a better write off than having to buy a new shock or two… Thank you!

Congratulations to a couple IMCA Sport Mod drivers this past weekend…
Matt Urban Picked up the win at 141 Speedway in Wisconsin on Saturday night.
And Warren Huffman got the win at SaltCity Racing in Hutchinson, Kansas on Saturday night as well.
It was Matt’s first win in a dirt car, and Warren’s first night on a full set of VLS sticks. And picked up at 4th at Salina the next night.
