Breedt Product Design discovered during research and development of its Accelerator Pedal Spacer that not only will it help you improve your heel to toe braking and accelerating, it enhances accelerator pedal to the brake pedal transitions street driving conditions.
Car and Driver.com explains about heel and toe downshifting technique: Drivers use the "heel and toe" method to smoothly combine braking and downshifting as they approach a corner. Good drivers know that blipping the throttle between gears in a downshift to speed up the engine to match the tire speed keeps the wheels from locking and stops the back end from getting loose.

The Breedt Accelerator Pedal Spacer repositions the accelerator pedal forward, about even with the brake pedal. This makes an easier, safer transition to the brake pedal and back to accelerator pedal.

The 2013 Focus ST is a great vehicle that comes off the factory floor with long sought after European race car sensibilities. Jack Nerad writes in his expert review for Kelly Blue Book, “Ford performance enthusiasts have traditionally bemoaned the fact that Europe gets all the sophisticated good stuff, and that was the case until Ford presented us with the 2013 Ford Focus ST.”

2013 Focus ST Kelly Blue Book rating 20 of 22 in fuel economy – and pretty good overall rating of 7.4 of 10 points. But can be a bit of a disappointment if you are seeking traditional American power and torque from a V8 or even from a V6 from factory stock.
