Nelson in 1937 as Tires and Equipment Company. In the early years the company sold tires and school buses and later on branched into the truck equipment industry. Clarence ,as everyone called him, remained active in the business until he was 94 years old. Roy Nelson follows in his father’s footsteps by offering customers complete service and installation centers and serving as a warehouse distributor for hundreds of today’s most desired automotive products. Now that we have grown into more locations Ben Nelson has come onboard as third generation GM of our Portland location. In 1986 Nelson Truck Equipment acquired Titan Truck Equipment in Spokane and now have locations in Seattle, Kent, Spokane, Portland and Boise. Nelson Truck Equipment continues to provide quality service throughout the Pacific Northwest including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
