Stress-Tek, Inc. to Join Vishay Precision Group (VPG).
Stress-Tek, Inc. is pleased to announce we have signed a deal to be acquired by Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (NYSE:VPG). All of us at Stress-Tek, Inc. / Vulcan On-Board Scales are excited about this opportunity to become part of a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of precision sensors and sensor-based systems. The acquisition is expected to close by December 31, 2015.
Stress-Tek will continue to design and manufacture our American-made on-board weighing solutions at the same location in Kent, Washington after the closing. With this approach, we look forward to a seamless transition, allowing us to maintain stability and continue business as usual with our existing customers while leveraging VPG’s global reach and resources to grow the Vulcan On-Board Scales brand in new markets.
