Two small things can save you a lot of frustration on the road.

Aaron talks about battery health first. Changes in temperature put extra strain on car batteries, especially during seasonal swings. Add in something as simple as leaving your lights on, and a healthy battery can drain faster than you expect. Most battery issues don’t come out of nowhere — they build up quietly over time.

Then there are wiper blades. They work hard, wear out fast, and often get overlooked. Replacing them every three to six months helps keep your visibility clear when weather turns bad, instead of finding out they’re shot during the first heavy rain.

Neither of these are complicated fixes. But staying ahead of them can make everyday driving safer and a whole lot less stressful.

One of the biggest questions drivers have is whether a recommendation is an upsell or a real issue.

Aaron’s advice is simple. The difference usually comes down to trust and understanding. A genuine problem should come with a clear explanation. What’s happening, why it matters, and what could happen if it’s left alone. Pressure and vague answers are red flags. Clarity and transparency are not.

During service on this Ford F350 Lariat, James identified dirty transmission fluid that could have led to restricted flow and internal wear.
