Reckless Driving Arrest
On 06/26/2026 at approximately 0312 hours officers were in the area of W Clearwater Ave and N Union St when three motorcycles were observed speeding down W Clearwater Ave, their speed was approximately 100 MPH.
An officer was further west on W Clearwater Ave and observed the motorcycles exceeding 120 MPH.
At 0328 hours officers contacted three motorcycles in Columbia Park fitting the description from the earlier reckless driving. It was found that none of the motorcycles had license plates, two of the drivers had a suspended license, and these motorcycles were linked to a habitual reckless driving complaint in the 3700 block of W 9th Ave.
When officers went to place all three into custody, 22 year old Gabriel Sprague began to resist arrest. He was safely taken into custody after a short struggle. No one was injured during the struggle.
All three of the motorcycles were impounded.
22 year old Gabriel Sprague was booked into the Benton County Jail on Reckless Driving, Driving on a Suspended License in the 2nd Degree, City Park Violation, Resisting Arrest, False Reporting, and Obstructing a Public Servant.
21 year old Malachi Flajole was booked into the Benton County Jail on Reckless Driving and City Park Violation.
23 year old Aydin Keeling was booked into the Benton County Jail on Reckless Driving, Driving on a Suspended License in the 2nd Degree, and City Park Violation.
Recently we had a fatal motorcycle collision, we want to remind the public that driving recklessly at high speeds is extremely dangerous. Officers will conduct the proper enforcement when these violations occur.
