This driver's example E46 M3 has undergone a full comprehensive service and maintenance overhaul by a reputable BMW service shop. The main goal was to assure daily drivability through our hot Atlanta, GA summers.

The following service has been performed:

Subframe Reinforcement: As many of us know the achilles heel of the E46 M3 is the floor mounted subframe. A complete overhaul of the rear end was performed 6 months ago in recommended manner using AKG subframe weld plates along with polyurethane differential/subframe bushings which last longer than standard rubber bushings. All other bushings throughout the car have been double checked and replaced with OEM BMW parts.

SMG Pump: The main pump has been replaced along with the hydraulic lines, actuator, and clutch slave cylinder using OEM BMW parts.

General bill of health:
All buttons and switches work including the heated seats driver/passenger.
No squeaks, rattles or knocking. All bushings/driveshaft guibo in good condition.
Alignment straight and true. Great highway cruiser
Brake pads replaced with OEM BMW
AC blows ice cold.
Michelin Pilot Sport tires have 60-70% tread left.
OEM 10w-60 BMW motor oil changed about 2,500 miles ago. Should be changed within 1,500 miles.

Paint and Cosmetic:
RUST FREE BODY

-This being a driven example E46 M3, there are a handful of minor dings and scratches but nothing critical to warrant a panel being repainted. Black paint still has a nice reflective luster but scratches could use touchup.

- The windshield has a crack in the very bottom corner on the passenger side.

-All 4 wheels have clear coat peeling off and could benefit from a wetsanding and respray.

-Driver seat leather has started to tear, details shown in pictures below. The rest of the leather throughout the interior is in great shape.

-Steering wheel trim has a scratch near the bottom.

Overall, this M3 is in good shape for its age and mileage. It does not require immediate service or maintenance and could be driven reliably for many miles to come.
