Arundel Yacht Club

Arundel Yacht Club (AYC) is located on the Kennebunk River in Kennebunkport, Maine. It is a members only club.

Founded in 1957, the AYC is a working club based on volunteer activity and all members are encouraged to participate. Our mission is the enjoyment of boating, waterfront activities, and social events with fellow members in an informal setting. Please note: Attendance at Club events and the use of the Club facility is for members and their guests only.

☀️ STAGE HARBOR BOUND THIS SATURDAY (8/29)! ⛵🏖️

Let’s soak up these last weekend of summer together! Join us this Saturday, August 29th, for a relaxed afternoon on the water in one of Maine’s most beautiful little harbors. 🌊☀️

The weather is looking absolutely fabulous! Come ashore to hang out, grab a burger or a snack, and enjoy your favorite BYOB drink. 🍔🍻

🚩 Cruising Burgees: Pick up your cruising flags, zip ties, and clips at the Club on Saturday morning!

🔥 Timing: The grill will be hot and coolers cold starting around 1:00 PM!

🦞 LOBSTER BAKE RECAP! 🦞

Great food, wonderful weather, and even better company! Saturday’s B.O.G. Lobster Bake was one for the books. 🌊🍻

Huge shoutout to the B.O.G. crew for providing an incredible meal! Thank you to all the members and families who came out to share a table, catch up, and celebrate the season with us.

🍦⛵ THAT’S A WRAP ON AN INCREDIBLE JUNIOR SAILING SEASON! ⛵🍦

On Tuesday night, our sailors, families, and staff gathered in The Ropewalk for our annual Ice Cream Social to celebrate another unforgettable summer on the water!

Junior sailors and their families came together to celebrate all the hard work, fun, and growth from this summer. The night wrapped up with the long-awaited presentation of our infamous paper plate awards! 🏆 The kids look forward to those personalized honors almost as much as the ice cream.

A massive THANK YOU to our unbelievable team of instructors, counselors-in-training (CITs), and stewards! 🌟 Your leadership, patience and passion for sailing are what make this program so special and impactful. You are the reason our sailors come back eager to learn year after year, and we could not be prouder of the community you’ve built.

Thank you to all of our AYC families for a fantastic summer. We can’t wait to see everyone back out on the water next year!

🌊 REVIVING AN AYC TRADITION: STAGE HARBOR CRUISE! 🌊

The AYC Cruising Crew is heading to Stage Harbor on Saturday, August 22, 2026, for an afternoon of beachside fun and great company! ⛵✨

• Low Tide: 1:34 PM

• Grill & Beach: Bring your favorite protein to cook on the Blackstone, or enjoy a complimentary burger on the shore!

• Cruising Burgees: Classic red Cruising Burgees will be provided for all participating boats, making it easy to spot fellow members as everyone heads into the harbor.

🚤 Need a Ride? Don't have a boat? No problem! Reach out to us in advance and we’ll do our best to connect you with another member.

🕔 5:00 PM – Social Hour: Complimentary b**r, w**e, soda, and appetizers provided by B.O.G.
🕕 6:00 PM – Dinner: Feast on lobster, corn, kielbasa, eggs, and onions—followed by watermelon, cake, and coffee for dessert!

💰 Pricing:
• Lobster Dinner: $30.00 per person
• Non-Lobster Eaters (Over 21): $20.00 per person
• Under 21: $10.00 per person

AYC Float was a success! 🌊☀️

Such a fun night on the river! A huge thank you to everyone who grabbed their tubes, kayaks and dinghies to float with the tide, and to our stewards for running shuttle launches.

Back on the AYC Deck, Bryan Frates kept the party going with awesome live music while everyone enjoyed crafts, root b**r floats, popsicles, and BYOB drinks. What a great afternoon catching up and hanging out at the Ropewalk! 🎶🍦🎨

What a night at the (Velvet) Ropewalk! 🪩✨

Our Saturday Night Fever party transformed the club into a total disco inferno. From dining al fresco to DJ Durward spinning all our favorites under the disco ball, the vibes were unmatched.

A huge thank you to everyone who dusted off their platforms and sequins—and a special shoutout to Zach Balomenos 🕺 and Emma Parkinson 💃 for leading the club in the Hustle! 🕺💃

Dust off your platform shoes and dig out the sequins, because we are transforming the historic Ropewalk into a full-blown disco inferno on Saturday, July 18th! 🪩🔥

DJ Durward will be spinning all your favorite retro tracks while Chef Luca and the team from Pinsa Kennebunk serve up an incredible, family-style Italian pizza party! 🍕🍹 From Aperol Spritzes and signature meatballs to "Pinsa style" pizzas and Disco Dolce, it’s going to be a night to remember.
